Can I be real with you?
I got into this work because I watched my mom become bed-bound with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in the 1980s. No one helped her, and it shattered our family’s trajectory in heartbreaking ways. It pissed me off—and it fueled my career.
Thanks to genetics, I’ve battled autoimmunity since I was eight. I’m a “Sensitive Sally.” A canary in the coal mine. As a fellow “Spoonie,” I know firsthand that the few spoonfuls of energy people with chronic health challenges have for any given day must be used strategically. That’s why I spent over a decade helping (mostly) women unravel their symptoms and claw their way out of deep health struggles. Seeing them reclaim their potential—and watching the ripple effect in their families—was the most rewarding work of my life.
But something felt off. Even though I was charging far less than my colleagues, functional medicine is still financially out of reach for so many—women like my mom and even me at times during health flare-ups. Money is not why I got into this. I wanted to help more people, period.
So, I took my life’s work online, building a community eager to decode their bodies’ signals, experiment with wellness tools, and find what truly works for them.
