Each season we’ll release an action plan in the form of a PDF/workbook that will cover the topics of that season. The most important thing to know about these action plans is that they are designed for ACTION.
I’m not here to stuff your brain with confusing information that leaves you wondering what to do next. Instead, you get simple strategies and clear steps to implement them.
Health Focus Video
Each season we’ll release 3 Health Focused training videos (one each month), so you can get a deep-dive learning experience and have a concrete understanding of that seasons’ goals.
A habit tracker will be included inside our seasonal action plan. Each season we will release 3 powerful habit builders (one each month), on which we will focus. These specific habit builders will be fun, simple, and most of all effective in keeping you out of the fight or flight mode.
Q&A Tea Time Talks
You’re going to have questions to ask and successes to share, and that’s where our Tea Time Talks come in! During our Tea Time Talks (3 per season), you can join live or submit questions in advance for me to answer. I’ll show up live with my favorite tea in hand and support the group. If you submit a question for the call, you will get an answer, it’s that simple!
We also have a community portion of the membership, where you can post your progress, ask questions, and connect with other Nourished Rhythm members. This will be a safe, supportive space where you are motivated.

Autumn - Release
Just as the trees release their leaves in the fall and don't hold onto them in anticipation of needing them again someday, we need to release what no longer serves us.
It's the perfect time to release toxins, as well as take care of your lungs and digestion. It's also a great time of year to strengthen your cerebellum, which is the communication channel between your brain to your body. This will also decrease anxiety and help calm the "fight or flight" sympathetic response.
Winter - Root
Nourish the roots that give you life. It's simple. It's quiet. It's deeply restful and rejuvenating.
It's an ideal time to address bone strength, as this is a foundation for your physical ability to function, and your urinary tract rids your body of the heaviness of excess water. As you are nourishing the roots of your most important relationships and values, it is the perfect time to strengthen the area of your brain that helps you store the beautiful memories you are creating, the temporal lobe and hippocampus.
Spring - Rise
You rise with new life, new fervor, and new ideas to be brought into this world.
It is an ideal time to wake up, to detoxify your liver and gallbladder. Now is when you bring heat back to your muscles and tendons, moving about with more energy and vitality. It’s also time to strengthen the parietal lobe in your brain. This area processes many of the sensory experiences you have, making life more vibrant and enjoyable. It also helps you know where you are in space, which is important as you enter a more active celebratory, joyful season.
Summer - Rejoice
This is the season to celebrate the harvest from all the TLC you have poured into your life and wellness this past year. It is a more active time where fun, joy, laughter, friends, and community are playing a large role.
It’s the perfect time to make great strides in the health of your heart and blood vessels to improve circulation. It is also appropriate to address your digestion, ensuring your small intestine is absorbing the nutrients from the food you eat so you do not become depleted. Finally, this is a wonderful time to strengthen the frontal lobe of your brain.

I understand what you’re going through.
My struggle with severe autoimmune thyroid disease started when I was 8 years old and couldn’t swallow because of the huge goiter in my throat.
When I was in high school, I was tested for learning disabilities because I couldn’t focus and could barely read. When I was in chiropractic school, I napped in my car between classes and gained 5 pounds every 2 weeks even though I was training for a marathon.
I don’t remember the first couple of years of my first child’s life because I was in such a brain fog. When I opened my chiropractic practice, I was so sick I could hardly finish a sentence – not the way to make a good impression! I finally got so sick I had to close my practice.
And nobody could seem to help me. They slapped band-aids on my symptoms that never worked for very long. No one could figure out what was going on with me. I got so sick and tired of being shooed out one medical door after another and being treated like I was crazy.
I was desperate, discouraged, and about to give up.
That’s when I decided it was up to me to figure it out and heal myself. So I pursued training in various specialties – functional medicine, neuroendocrine immunology, functional neurology, and nutrigenomics. I studied with people who were pioneers in their fields and on the cutting edge of health practices, such as Dr. Datis Kharrazian and Dr. Ben Lynch. I researched, I learned, I experimented, and I began connecting the dots. Slowly but surely, I got better.
I started applying what I had learned during my own healing journey to helping others in my private practice at the Functional Longevity Institute. I asked myself, what did I need when I was trying to get better? What had been most useful? How did I wish I had been treated as a patient? As a person? I began to see a way I could help more women through the accessibility of my online courses and memberships. That is how the Nourished Rhythms Membership was born.
I’m so passionate about helping women heal their bodies, restore their health and recover their joy and peace! I’m looking forward to getting to know you inside Nourished Rhythms.
